About Barry Low

I am a creative designer who transitioned from a rewarding career in the advertising industry, where I held positions as Creative Director and Senior Designer. Throughout my career, I have always incorporated photography into my work, primarily by providing art direction to photographers.

Six years ago, during a portraiture shoot trip in China, my creative journey took an exciting new direction. Armed with a second-hand Canon 5D Mark III, I discovered a profound love for photography, especially in portraiture and fashion. This marked my transition into a full-time professional photographer, specializing in these genres.

My approach to photography is deeply personal and emotive. I believe each photo tells a unique story, and my goal is to create beautiful, timeless images that preserve life’s most precious memories, elevating them to the level of masterful works of art.

As I continue to refine my craft, I look forward to collaborating with you to create stunning photographs. Through my lens, I aim to capture beauty with style and the best composition. Based in Auckland, New Zealand, I am willing to travel the world.
